Audit
As a media student, I possess a strong foundation in the following skills for broadcast journalism:

1. Interviewing: I am adept at conducting interviews, asking insightful questions, and engaging with interviewees to extract meaningful responses. This skill helps me build rapport with subjects and produce compelling stories.
2. Storytelling: I have developed the ability to craft narratives that engage audiences. Whether it’s news, features, or human interest pieces, I can convey information in a way that resonates emotionally and intellectually with viewers.
3. Public Speaking: I am confident in speaking clearly and persuasively in front of an audience. This has prepared me for on-camera work, live reporting, and delivering content with authority and clarity.

While I am strong in these areas, I recognize the need to expand my technical skills to fully excel in broadcast journalism. Specifically, I want to develop proficiency in:
1. Editing: I aim to learn video and audio editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro, to enhance my ability to produce polished, professional content.
2. Designing: Understanding graphic design tools like Adobe Photoshop or After Effects will enable me to create visual elements that complement my storytelling, from title graphics to on-screen visuals.

By developing these technical skills, I will be more well-rounded and prepared for a successful career in broadcast journalism.
